My love letter to Los Angeles ♥️

Dear LA, 

After almost 4 years of living in this magical city of angels— I’ve made the choice to return to the H. I’ll always be thankful for the people, the places, the memories I’ve made here. This city has taught me so much about myself as an artist, a hustler, and a human. It taught me to stand on what I believed in. It taught me how to advocate for myself and others. It taught me that at my core, community is and will always be one of my #1 values.

Los Angeles will always have a special place in my heart. It will always be the city that taught me I can do ANYTHING I set my mind to. I look forward to the day I look my future kids in the eyes and tell them their mom never settled. She knew she was brilliant and magical from the jump— she chose to bet on herself. She had a goal and she achieved it. She built a beautiful life in a new city and she did it all on her own. She did it scared but she did it! 

It doesn’t matter where I’m at physically, I’ll be making art with people in alignment with my values and that’s what artistic integrity looks like to me. That’s what matters to me and that will always be enough.
